Light a Candle
Martha Dean(Givens) Verity, September 27, 1930- July 6, 2020 Martha went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 6, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband Gordon Lloyd Verity, step-son Peter Verity, and two brothers, John Pinkston and Darrell Givens. She is survived by sons Mark Verity (Sharon), Todd Verity (Gayle), Bruce Verity, Craig Verity (Leila), step-daughter Diane Verity (Jim) and foster daughter, Lynne Tomlinson (John), grandchildren, Steven, Britton, Morgen, Sable and Rhett, and great-grandchildren, Oakley, Hank, Leyland, Duke, Ida, Brantley, Jett, and Thea Her heart was so big. She loved to help people and provide for those in need. She loved her Lord and shared the gospel with everyone she knew. The verse on her garage door was Romans 10:9-10, which says, "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Her special love apart from the Lord and her family was babies....any baby anywhere. I'm sure she is hugging them all in heaven now. Rest in peace Mom. You are missed by all. We'll see you on the other side.
